Swan River

The Swan River is a wide, accessible waterway that curves through Perth to Fremantle. Locals use it for boating, paddling, fishing, swimming, picnics and riverside walks. The river also has strong cultural importance, known to the local Noongar people as Derbal Yerrigan and linked to the Waugal creation story.
