Bells Rapids Park

Bells Rapids Park is a riverside reserve just outside Perth with rocky rapids, cliff lookouts and a handful of walking routes. It suits day trips, picnics and short bushwalks and has basic visitor facilities including toilets and several carparks.

Highlights

Expect a mix of flat picnic areas and steeper, rough trails that drop down to the river.
The rapids are dramatic after rain or in winter, but the river can be much quieter in dry months.
There is a suspension bridge and a few cliff-top viewpoints for photos.
Facilities are simple: public toilets, parking and occasional food vans.
Some paths are uneven, so wear sensible shoes and be prepared for sun exposure on hot days.
