Parthenon
The Parthenon crowns the Acropolis as a first-century BC temple dedicated to Athena. You will see large Doric columns, sculpted frieze fragments and extensive restoration work that reveals how the monument was constructed and conserved. Most visitors combine this visit with other ancient sites nearby.
