Heidelberg Castle
A partly restored Renaissance palace and romantic ruin above Heidelberg’s old town. The site mixes carved sandstone façades, wide terraces and extensive gardens. Inside you can see a historic pharmacy museum and the famous giant wine barrel, while the grounds offer clear views across the river and town.
