Breisacher Münster St. Stephan

Breisacher Münster St. Stephan is a medieval minster on the Münsterberg above Breisach. Built in Romanesque style from the 12th century and later extended in the Gothic period, it is known for its two towers in the choir area, a carved high altar attributed to Master H.L., and the large Last Judgment mural by Martin Schongauer. The building was rebuilt after heavy wartime damage and remains a focal point of the town and region.
