Mount Lycabettus
A steep limestone hill above central Athens that rewards the climb with wide views of the city, the Acropolis and the port of Piraeus. You can walk up through pine-scented paths or ride the funicular to the summit, where there is a small chapel and a bar-restaurant. The outlook is the main draw, especially at sunrise and sunset.
