The Lascaris War Rooms
The Lascaris War Rooms are an underground World War II headquarters beneath Valletta. The complex contains original operations rooms, planning tables and communications equipment used to coordinate Malta’s defence and major Allied operations. The site remained in military use until the late 20th century and now presents those rooms and records to visitors.
