Ancient Greek Theatre
The Great Theatre at Ephesus is a vast ancient performance venue carved into the hillside near Selçuk. It once seated tens of thousands and hosted drama, assemblies and later spectacles. The theatre sits within the larger Ephesus archaeological site, which includes Roman streets and the famed Library of Celsus.
