Roman Forum of Athens (Roman Agora)
The Roman Forum of Athens, often called the Roman Agora, is a small archaeological site focused on the Gate of Athena Archegetis and the Tower of the Winds. You can see remains of public buildings, a basilica and civic spaces that once served the city under Roman rule. The site sits close to Monastiraki and the Acropolis, and it tends to be calmer than the larger, busier monuments nearby.
