Temple of Olympian Zeus
A vast ancient temple begun in the 6th century BC and finished under Emperor Hadrian. Only a small group of Corinthian columns and stone foundations remain, but they convey the original scale. The site sits within a park in central Athens and can be viewed from surrounding streets and viewpoints.
